Let's talk about Jupitr Entertainment and our newest game: LightSpeed!
Hey kids, I want to give a solid update on a lot of stuff that's been happening with Jupitr Entertainment in the past couple of weeks!
Our newest game; LightSpeed
Firstly to kick this off, I want to give a quick introduction to LightSpeed! This game's been in development for a short while now, and I'm very happy with how its turning out. It's becoming very akin to AstroMania and all the arcade-y elements of it, like its more or less infinite replayablity. I don't want to go too much into its gameplay or any real details about it since it's still pretty early in development, but I will say I am liking it a whole lot.
Also while I'm thinking of it, I want to bring up the old LightSpeed; the one I scrapped a couple of months ago. While that one was more of just an endless runner type of game with no real fun to it, this new game has a lot more ideas, potential, and gameplay behind it right now than the old one. I do feel bad for not having a new game out in over a year, but truthfully a big reason behind that was not having any solid ideas for games. I'm really wanting to get two games out this year, but honestly as long as I just get LightSpeed out, I'll be happy. I'm really excited for LightSpeed, all of the people who've playtested it really liked it, so fingers crossed I decide to not be stupid and cancel it.
An update on Cryon Inc
Starting with the good news, I was able to get four entire chapters done through March and April, which seems a lot better to me than my usual two chapters over a week long period and have get writer's block for 6 months. I was also able to lock in a physical release for this book, with Amazon being 1000% locked in (though I probably won't find out where else it'll be distributed until I get it fully finished).
Now for the bad news; I've decided to take a month off, and with me not working this month, I'm not 100% certain on a Summer release date. After I finished chapters nine and ten, I looked over them and realized they were pretty rough around the edges. So I decided to take a month to take a breather, and work on other stuff. I'm really hoping to start writing again in May and get it finished during the Summer. That being said publishing and making sure the book's up to smack takes time, which is why I'm not locking its release date down. I'm still absolutely getting it out before 2026, because it's really close to being done and it would be stupid for it to take 8 extra months.
Storefront update for OneEleven
Also in good news, OneEleven's music is returning to Spotify and Apple Music! All of the tracks from MY LORD and KINGDOM are officially uploaded and on streaming services, with the tracks from KINGS NO MORE hopefully being added soon. Very happy to have them back on streaming services and here hoping they stay!
Also no new news regarding REPENT, I've been focusing my time on Cryon Inc and LightSpeed so I simply haven't had the time for it. Again though, it should be releasing this year, I just don't have any estimate to when though.
As a quick summary, you're probably going to be getting two new game, a book, and an album this year, you're welcome.
All jokes aside I'm very excited for all the stuff coming this year. LightSpeed is coming along super well and I can't wait to show it off later this year (probably within the next couple of months).
